Meet Julia Holm – Purchasing and Logistics Coordinator at EWES
With a fast pace both at work and in her spare time, Julia Holm thrives when her days are full of activity. When she is not working with order flows and purchasing at EWES, she is often found on the football pitch, involved in club activities, or watching a football or ice hockey match from the stands. In her role as Purchasing and Logistics Coordinator, Julia is a key part of the daily operations, where structure, service mindset and flexibility go hand in hand.
Julia lives in Bredaryd and has quickly become a natural part of the EWES team. We sat down with her to get to know her a little better.
Vilken tjänst har du på EWES?
My job title is Purchasing and Logistics Coordinator, but the role is quite broad. At the moment, I spend a lot of time working with the order inbox, while also handling purchasing tasks such as operational purchasing and purchase requests. I am also involved in other areas, for example item setup and related administrative work.
Why did you apply for the position?
This role was not actually advertised when I first applied to EWES. I was encouraged by Alma Cederquist to apply, as she knew EWES were looking for salespeople and potentially something more. After I visited EWES and met the team, this role was presented to me – and I accepted straight away.
What did you do before joining EWES?
Before EWES, I worked in technical customer support at a market-leading industrial company in the local area (ESBE). My days mainly consisted of providing technical support by phone and email, as well as handling customer orders, complaints and returns. In short, everything that customer service involves.
How were you welcomed?
I have been welcomed very well. I already recognised several people who work here, both because we live in the same community and through football. There are many people at EWES who play football or are involved in club activities in one way or another, which creates a strong sense of community.
HOw old are you and where do you live?
I am 27 and will turn 28 in 2026 – but I usually say 25+. I live in Bredaryd.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
I enjoy staying busy. In my spare time, I play football and am actively involved in the club. I also like spending time with friends, going for walks, and watching football or ice hockey.
What is hard for you to resist?
A glass of prosecco with my girlfriends – and chewing gum. I always have a piece of gum in my mouth, and my consumption of Stimorol Original is very high. My friends say I should be sponsored, which probably says it all 😎.
If you did not have to work for money, what would you do in life?
I would travel a lot, try as many new things as possible, and go and watch all kinds of sports.
When did you last laugh out loud?
I laugh often, especially when I spend time with friends and family.
