From silent innovation to roaring engines. EWES Sound Fastener đź’™ Vincent Johansson Rally.
Sound Fastener is the name of the noise-reducing screw that’s revolutionising the construction market. Vincent Johansson is the talented young rally driver we’ve chosen to sponsor for the 2025 season.

We reduce the noise – they turn up the speed
EWES Sound Fastener is designed to reduce unwanted indoor noise. Rally driver Vincent Johansson and co-driver Karl Stark aim to push the pace. That’s why we’re such a great match.
Meet the team: Vincent Johansson Rally
At the wheel is Vincent Johansson, 24, raised in Kulltorp and currently working as a design engineer at Thule in Hillerstorp. Vincent has been passionate about motorsport since childhood, with experience in both go-karting and folkrace. He began rally driving in earnest in 2023.
By his side is Karl Stark, 23, originally from Vaggeryd and now living in Gnosjö. Karl also works as a design engineer – at Elmatec in Anderstorp. Rallying is new territory for him, but his background in elite-level cross-country skiing brings both pace and focus.
The duo began racing together in the summer of 2023 – and what a debut season they’ve had. In their first full year, 2024, they secured four victories, advanced from C to B class, won the Småland District Championship and claimed the E-Cup for unmodified cars. A rally journey that’s only just begun – but already moving at full throttle.
The 2025 campaign
Looking ahead to 2025, the team is raising the bar. Their goal is to compete against tougher competition than the step up to B class alone would bring. That’s why Vincent and Karl plan to take part in the brand-new National Championship (Riksmästerskapet), which runs alongside the Swedish Championship (SM). Since their car class isn’t eligible for the SM, RM provides the perfect opportunity – same courses, same conditions, and nearly the same level of competition.
They’ll also return to the full Småland Championship series, this time defending their title in the tougher B class. With longer stages and improved roads, the team is looking forward to pushing their limits, gaining experience and accelerating their development in the year ahead.
We wish the team the very best of luck!
