At EWES, people come first
At EWES, caring doesn’t stop at the factory doors. It’s part of everyday life at work, but also reflected in our commitment beyond it. For us, it’s about taking responsibility – for each other and for the community we’re part of.
Feeling seen and heard
At EWES, we describe caring simply: We care for people. Our colleagues, customers and partners – but also the people and communities around us.
In daily life, this takes very practical forms. It can be about creating the right conditions for wellbeing, both physically and mentally. We encourage health checks, such as prostate screening every other year, and provide support through occupational health services. It can also be about making the working day a little easier – like offering breakfast in the morning or the option to arrange lunch on site.
But caring at EWES doesn’t stop there.
Local commitment
We are part of the Värnamo region, and with that comes responsibility. That’s why we actively support local initiatives and organisations where we can contribute to development, inclusion and opportunity.
One example is our support of the RÅs LB women’s football team, where we have contributed to licences as well as equipment to film matches. For us, it’s about enabling progress – both on and off the pitch.
We also support IFK Värnamo and Speedway Lejonen, two strong local clubs that bring people together and create pride in the region.
At the same time, we are engaged in parasport through Hello Sweden, focusing on inclusion and creating opportunities for more people to take part in sport and community life.
We believe in contributing where we can and taking responsibility for the bigger picture. For us, caring is not a single initiative or project. It’s a way of thinking and acting. Every day. Because when people are given the right conditions – at work and in society – something greater grows.
There’s always a WE in EWES
