Meet EWES' newest stars

We usually say that there's always a WE in EWES, and now we've added not one, but five new stars to the team. We asked them a few questions so you can get to know them.

The power of WE

Over the past year, Sandra Haglund, Simon Fridén, Jakob Göthberg, Erika Jonasson, and Kajsa Lysebring have joined the EWES team.

Say hello to Erika, Simon, Jakob, Kajsa, and Sandra!
A lot is happening at EWES, and the team has been reinforced with not one, but five new colleagues. Who are they? What are their job responsibilities, and what do they enjoy doing when they're not working? These are questions that need answers.

Erika Jonasson works in order/customer support. You'll get in touch with her when placing an order or if you have a question for customer support. Erika has extensive experience in customer service in various industries and comes from a previous job as an inside sales representative.
Simon Fridén and Jakob Göthberg are both sales representatives. They can answer questions about how EWES can help you create an optimal spring solution for your product. Simon has university studies in business sales and marketing, while Jakob has experience in warehouse logistics.
Kajsa Lysebring holds the title of purchasing manager, contributing to maintaining EWES' quality and fostering strong supplier relationships. In her previous job, she worked as a Supply Chain Manager.
Sandra Haglund works closely with customers in Customer Support Outbound. She handles customer inquiries and contract reviews, services she's comfortable with due to her previous work in logistics.

6 quick questions for the team

How old are you?
Erika: 38 years • Simon: 26 years • Jakob: 21 years • Kajsa: 43 years • Sandra: 43 years (but would like to say 26)

Where do you live?
Erika, Simon, and Jakob all live in Värnamo. Kajsa lives in Bredaryd, and Sandra lives in Forsheda.

What do you like to do when you’re not working?
Erika enjoys attending training sessions, but she has also taken several dance classes because she loves dancing. When she's off, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, cooking, and meeting friends. Simon has played ice hockey for over 15 years, so he enjoys training in his free time. Cooking is another activity close to his heart.
Jakob is an active person who enjoys playing both soccer and padel in his spare time. He also likes spending time with friends, family, and his girlfriend.
Kajsa likes hanging out with friends and family, as well as watching soccer matches. Sandra likes to spend her free time training. High on her list are also family and friends.

What do you find hard to resist?
Erika: Spontaneous things. If someone suggests a trip or an event, I find it hard to resist.
Simon: Unfortunately, I have a weakness for sweets, but it might benefit me because it motivates me to exercise more 😉.
Jakob: Candy and chips.
Kajsa: I wouldn't say no to socializing with friends, traveling, and so on. I probably also find it hard to resist a glass of wine on Friday evenings.
Sandra: I have a weakness for both licorice and ice cream.

If you didn’t have to work for money – what would you do in life?
Erika: I would probably travel and buy a house abroad, maybe even move abroad. I would likely spend some money on various adventures, maybe even start my own business, as it would open a new door that piques my curiosity.
Simon: The dream would be to open a gym, and the advantages would be that I'd get to train for free while making money from the members. Win-win 😉.
Jakob: Travel to as many places as possible.
Kajsa: Oh, a tough question. Maybe work for a charity or be an official at sporting events or something similar.
Sandra: I would take the opportunity to travel the world and gain new experiences. Simply enjoy life.

When was the last time you laughed out loud?
Erika: At a YouTube clip, there was a grandpa/father in Texas trying to order at a Starbucks drive-thru for his teenage grandchildren. It was difficult for him to place the order at the window, and it was not just a regular coffee with milk they wanted.
Simon: I always laugh when I'm at home visiting family, especially when I spend time with my sister's sons, who are 3 and 2 years old.
Jakob: Every day!
Kajsa: Just now, actually. There were funny comments here at the office in the morning. Sandra: TODAY! 😃
