EWES' latest machine investment is a servo-controlled multi-slide press from Bihler. The machine is versatile, allowing for the production of various types of strip steel springs as well as sheet metal and details produced of wire. The machine enables the production of highly intricate details, and it operates swiftly!
Peter explains that the production speed can be doubled, and setup times are extremely short because tool changes are automated and essentially occur with the press of a button. All in all, this means that the tool cost for the customer can be up to 70 percent lower!
